Dr Marie Kunesova is president of the Czech Society for the Study of Obesity. She is head of the Obesity Management Centre in the Institute of Endocrinology and associated Prof. of the Internal Medicine in the 1st Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague. Dr Kunesova has been involved in education and obesity management for over 10 years where successful educational programs have been run in the Czech Republic at the Charles University involving multidisciplinary teams.
