behalf of the Australasian Society for the Study of Obesity (ASSO), the
Local Organising Committee is pleased to invite colleagues to Sydney, Australia
for the 10th International Congress on Obesity. The 10th ICO will
be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour,
Sydney between September 3-8, 2006.
The Chairperson for the 10th ICO is Professor Paul Zimmet and he is supported by co-chairs Professor Ian Caterson and Associate Professor Kate Steinbeck. Professor Joe Proietto is Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. Pre- and post-satellite meetings will be held in conjunction with the 10th ICO in a variety of locations including Sydney and other Australian cities as well as South-East Asian and South-Pacific destinations.
