The 7th IASO Stock Conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand 30 March –  1 April 2008.

The meeting was on the subject of  "Sex and obesity: Gender differences in energy homeostasis and fat metabolism " and was chaired by Dr Jennifer Lovejoy (USA) & Dr Amanda Sainsbury-Salis (Australia).
